A reopening of a case that in our opinion should not have been closed: The killing of Muhammad Qudaih, a 70-year-old Palestinian resident who was holding a white flag.

In the summer of 2014, I was a criminal investigator in the Israeli Defense Forces, and I was sent to investigate that case. After I was discharged from the service it was closed by the Military Prosecutor’s Office without any legal proceedings being taken. A few years later, I saw him in front of me at a café: The soldier who shot the old man. At that moment, I realized that I had not finished investigating this case.

Critics

  • "In an intelligent performance, Joseph also reconstructs the details of the investigation through original documents collected since the case was closed."
    Sheren Falah Saab, Haaretz

  • "The content of the performance cannot be separated from its visual expression. The creators' subconscious worked extra hours during the creative process and burst into the creation."
    Yuval Plotkin, Ynet

  • "A refreshing and rare encounter with live, relevant, and vital theater. There is very little of it in Israel, certainly in a way that manages to maintain a high level both in content and form."
    Critic Noa Sadeh, Habama
