He is the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award, the Kinor David (David’s Harp) Award, the International Hans Christian Andersen Award, Best Director – Houston International Film Festival. A People of the Year Award, Acco Festival Award, and the Free Spirit Award – London Film Festival.

“Pogrom” is the third and final chapter is his trilogy, inspired by Mendele the Book Peddler, including the period film “King of Beggars” and the musical, in two presentation versions – “Kingdom of the Beggars” (Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts – 1992) and “Heavenly Host” in the Original Israeli Musical Festival, 2017.
