Ephraim Sidon was born in Tel Aviv. He majored in history and theater at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Since 1972, Sidon has written weekly satirical columns in various major newspapers. He writes for the theater, and has written for a wide variety of TV programs, including drama, entertainment and satire. Sidon has published many books for children, a number of which have been adapted for the stage. He was awarded the Bialik Prize in 2004.
