mir Zloter is a playwright and director who holds an M.A. in Theater Directing from Tel Aviv University, where he graduated with Rector’s Honors and received the Yossi Yizraeli Scholarship for Excellence in Directing.

Over the past few years, he has directed three productions: You Stupid Darkness! at Tzavta (September 2021), Bull at Habima National Theatre (August 2022), and Nerves at Tzavta (2025).

Three of his full-length plays have been staged in Israel: King Saul (2015), Lesson (2018), and Geva Can’t Fall in Love (2026). In addition, he has written six short plays that have been produced: The Binding of Isaac (2018), Cold Feet (2019), Geva Doesn’t Know How to F** Properly* (2022), which he also directed, The Depression of Maya Katz (2023), Auto-Antisemitism on Grindr (2024), and Reasons to Kill God (2024).

In 2021, he was selected to participate in the Future of Theater program, where he developed a new play under the mentorship of Beit Lessin Theatre. In 2022, he was selected for the Starting Point program of the Kvutzat Avoda Ensemble, during which he wrote A Play in Broken English, with support from Mifal HaPais and the Israeli Ministry of Culture. The play was presented as a staged reading at Theater unterm Dach in Berlin, directed by Kerem Hillel, in June 2025.

Between 2026 and 2027, three new plays by Zloter are scheduled to premiere in Israel: The Monkey at the Khan Theatre Jerusalem, Why I Shot Andy Warhol? at the Triangle Theater, and The Most Remote Corner in the Universe (working title) at Haifa Theatre. amirzloter.com
