Again, sirens, nerves, an apologetic phone call to the one waiting, again the despair. Sometimes it seems that our lives are what happens between one traffic jam and another.

But what’s happening inside these roaring metal cans? Where is the elderly woman in the silver Hyundai rushing to? Why is the soldier crying in the battered Mazda? And what will happen when the doors open and all these solitudes meet?

Traffic Jam is a unique theatrical event, taking place outside, on the road, between and inside the vehicles, where the characters and the audience share the same traffic jam.

In a funny and touching performance, six characters trying to reach their destinations get stuck together, with the quintessentially Israeli question hovering above them: “Why aren’t we moving?”
