After ten years of fertility treatments, Tamar finally gives birth to a son. It should be the happiest moment of her life. So why isn’t she happy? Why can’t she kiss him, hold him, breastfeed him…? Even looking at him makes her feel sick.

The nurse in the maternity ward reassures her—it’s normal, it will pass, she just needs to rest. Tamar wants to believe her. But then, three unexpected visitors arrive: a child, a teenager, and a newlywed. They hold the secret that the “nurse” has spent a lifetime trying to bury.
