At an isolated space base in Mitzpe Ramon sits Dikla, who always dreamed of becoming an astronaut but had to settle for a job as a communications operator for astronauts. On her first day at work, a once-in-a-lifetime event occurs: for the first time, life is discovered in space, in the form of a magnificent pod of whales. No one, including Ornan, the astronaut she is responsible for, knows what to do – and then the unimaginable order comes: to eliminate them. The play was published in Hebrew by ‘PostcardPlay’, a small home-based publishing house with handmade covers. A copy can be ordered by mail through the website. |
