The unbelievable story of Bucephalus, the legendary war horse of Alexander the
Great, who becomes a lawyer in the Justice Ministry. In the middle of the night, there
is a knock on the door. A stranger arrives at the ‘Half Knight’ inn and requests a
room. He introduces himself as Bucephalus, the former horse of Alexander the Great
and now a lawyer. The rumor of the stranger’s arrival quickly spreads among the
inhabitants of the inn. A sudden war that erupts ‘shuffles all the cards’ and forces
Bucephalus, the lawyer horse, to choose between the law and justice, with a series
of decisions that will seal his fate.
This is a play about the conflict between the human and the savage, between the
individual and the collective—a story about mankind.

The play is inspired by Franz Kafka’s short story ‘The New Advocate’
