Just as Roni (30) settles into a new apartment, trying to get her life back on track after a breakup, she is blindsided by the arrival of her father, Gavri (55). In the midst of divorcing her mother, Gavri has just returned to Israel from a trip in India with Shanti (25)—a new girlfriend who is younger than Roni herself. He announces that her mother has taken over their home, leaving them with nowhere to stay, so they are moving in with Roni until things work out.
