Psychologist Reuven Klein has memory lapses that prevent him from concentrating on his work. But he has to work. Three anxious patients who are connected find themselves in his clinic; a woman who suffers from panic attacks, her partner who works non-stop on a Japanese robot, and the new neighbor who has entered their lives and is convinced that people are entering her apartment. Dr. Klein begins to lose his grip on reality and does not differentiate between the patients. His reality and that of his patients are mixed and distorted, and chaos takes over. Now Dr. Klein must navigate a maze of confusion in order to maintain his identity as a psychologist. If he fails, he may endanger the fragile lives of his patients. Everything becomes more difficult when the three patients are on stage at the same time and he does not exactly know who is saying what. This is the new play by playwright Roet Maliach Reshef. The play is influenced by chaos theory, solar mechanics and the world of the author Haruki Murakami. The play sets a mirror to the human vulnerability and inner anxiety of all of us. Let’s dive into the wild world of psychological therapies. |
