Eurodram\u00a0is a European theatre translation network covering European, Mediterranean and Central Asian languages.\u00a0The network is organised into roughly 30 language-based\u00a0committees.<\/p>\n
Eurodram\u2019s main objective is promote contemporary plays from across the wider European area to theatre professionals and theatre audiences.<\/p>\n
The plays are selected through two biennial\u00a0competitions<\/p>\n
The Eurodram Hebrew committee<\/a> selected three plays for 2018:<\/p>\n They say she will start in July \/ Danielle \u00a0Cohen Levy\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Mothers, Three \/ Lahav Timor<\/p>\n Horribly Human \/ Gilad Evron<\/a><\/p>\n This year\u2019s selection was dedicated to the play-writer Gilad Evron for his immense contribution to Israeli play writing.<\/p>\n This year, 50 plays were submitted, of which 44 fitted the brief\u2019s criteria. A third of those plays were written by women.<\/p>\n The plays were read anonymously by 8 committee members and only after the selection process was over, the writers\u2019 names were revealed.<\/p>\n The members of the Hebrew committee for 2018 are :<\/p>\n Maya Arad Yasur<\/a>, Nohar Lazarovich, Oded Liphshitz<\/a>, Liat Fassberg, Shay Shabtay<\/a>, Gundula Schiffer and Lilach Dekel-Avneri and Zohar Wexler – the \u00a0committee\u2019s co-coordinators.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Eurodram\u00a0is a European theatre translation network covering European, Mediterranean and Central Asian languages.\u00a0The network is organised into roughly 30 language-based\u00a0committees.
