Gather whatever inspiration the questions give you, and use it to fuel your chosen discipline. The questions are open to many interpretations!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_4\">When you submit please keep in mind that Lama encourage artistic exploration, provoking and risk-taking writing.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"font_8\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Short plays are limited to 10 pages or less (we find less is better) in standard playwriting formats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Poems\/ Monologues are limited to 2 pages.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"font_8\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Song samples should be mp3 and no more than 3 minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">One submission per artist.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Only submissions by electronic attachment will be accepted, Microsoft Word document or PDF.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Playwrights can be from anywhere in United States or Israel , but plays must be in English.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Submit a BLIND copy of your script and include a list of characters\/descriptions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">\u00a0E-mail your script\/song\/poem to: <a href=\"mailto:lamatheatercompany@gmail.com\" target=\"_self\">lamatheatercompany@gmail.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_15\">Please include the title of the play and the country you\u2019re submitting from in the subject line.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lama Theater Company (NYC) and the Playwrights Project (Israel) presents: The Monthly Swap What is the Monthly Swap?
