During the 1960s he studied drama and theatre at Nola Chilton\u2019s studio. In 1968 he was one of the founders of the Khan Theatre in Jerusalem. In the early 1970s he studied in the Department of Theatre Arts at Tel Aviv University, and later joined the Haifa Theatre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Since 1986, Danon has focused on playwriting and directing, writing and directing dozens of plays \u2014 both by Israeli playwrights and translated works.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Between 1992 and 1995, he was a member of the artistic management team of the Acco Festival of Alternative Israeli Theatre.
