Ravid was born in Herzliya in 1970. In 1988, she completed her studies in theater at the “Thelma Yellin” School of Arts. She is a graduate of H.B. Studio-New York under the direction of Uta Hagen. She is also a graduate of the Kibbutz Seminary in Tel Aviv with a specialization in directing.<\/p>\n

She wrote and directed plays for the Habima Theater and plays that were performed at the Acre Festival for Alternative Theater and Theatronto, where they also won awards.<\/p>\n

Her writing style in her plays is typically constructed as language made of fragments or pieces of sentences, thereby creating dialogue that flows naturally, like conversation between people who begin speaking while the other is still talking, creating realistic everyday discourse.
