The first play that Cohen wrote and directed was \u201cWordplay\u201d (Acre Theater Festival 1999), for which he received the Sternfeld Prize for Writing and Direction. In 2005, he wrote and directed \u201cGet a Life\u201d at the Tmu-na Theater in Tel Aviv. For this play he won the Golden Hedgehog Playwright of the Year Prize. During the past few years, he has written and directed several additional plays, including \u201cBellboy\u201d, \u201cFootage\u201d, \u201cPrivate Collection\u201d, \u201cRegarding the Bird\u201d, and recently, the monodrama \u201cScared to Death\u201d, in which he himself presents his material.
